  • Tues 1st March St David’s Day, High Tea with Prosecco on the steam train – To celebrate St David’s Day, treat friends and family to a traditional Welsh High Tea with a continental twist, a glass of Prosecco. Enjoy the comfort of our specially converted vintage Bar Coach hauled by an austerity steam engine. Two settings 12.30 and 15.00. Tables for two or four. Pre-booking essential.
  • Sun 6th March Mother’s Day, High Tea with Prosecco on the steam train– In a change to the service advertised in our leaflet, two High Tea with Prosecco trains will run on Mothering Sunday. Treat Mum to a traditional Welsh High Tea with a continental twist, a glass of Prosecco. Enjoy the comfort of our specially converted vintage Bar Coach hauled by an austerity steam engine.   • Sun 13th and Sun 20th, Scenic Explorer Days – Perfect for diesel enthusiasts come and enjoy the panoramic views from our heritage diesel railcar. Buy tickets on the day.
  • Good Friday 25th March to Easter Bank Holiday Monday 28th March, Easter Fun at the Gwili Railway – See the Easter Bunny at the Gwili Railway. Easter egg for every child, Easter Trail, Railway Quiz, Easter recipe, Colouring competition. Book online or pay on the day.
  • Thu 31st March, 2016 Welsh Elevenses – New for 2016 enjoy Welsh Elevenses on the 11am steam train. Relax over a cup of loose leaf Welsh Brew tea or freshly made coffee with a slice of traditional Bara Brith (a Welsh tea bread) and Welsh salted butter. Small group discounts available for parties of 10+. Booking advised.
  • Thu 31st March, 2016 Strawberry Afternoon Tea on the steam train – Book our famous Strawberry Cream Tea and enjoy table service in our vintage dining car. Each serving has two large, locally baked scones, locally made preserve, Welsh salted butter, clotted cream and a cup of loose leaf Welsh Brew tea or freshly made coffee. Pre-booking essential.
  • Tue 29th March to Mon 11th Apr 2016, local Easter school holidays – steam train rides available – Buy tickets on the day and enjoy a visit to this volunteer led, standard gauge, preserved railway in the picturesque Carmarthenshire countryside with Victorian Tea Rooms, small museum, working Signal Box, Travelling Post Office, carriages and wagons on display and Miniature Railway. Tickets valid all day. Dogs can travel standard class for £1, ramp access to train if required.
